I am a 33-year-old German-speaking CTO and Software Engineer based in Austria with a strong focus on .NET and backend architecture.

My journey into software development began through contributing to an open-source SQL project out of personal interest. What started as curiosity evolved into a clear professional direction: building structured, maintainable, and high-performance backend systems. In 2021, I formally transitioned into software engineering and completed a project-based training program, laying the foundation for my professional career.

With 3.5 years of professional experience in a small, product-driven team, I took over as CTO of digital35 GmbH in August 2026 — a platform I had already been shaping as lead backend developer since 2023. The role is deliberately hands-on: I design and implement backend systems using .NET 8–10, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and PostgreSQL, define architectural decisions, establish development standards, organize planning processes, and conduct pull request reviews to ensure long-term technical quality.

Beyond application logic, I take ownership of infrastructure and deployment workflows using Docker, GitHub Actions, and cloud environments such as IONOS, Azure, and DigitalOcean.

One of my core strengths lies in refactoring legacy systems and improving performance. I am particularly strong at transforming unstructured or inefficient codebases into clean, well-architected solutions. My working style is structured, detail-oriented, and focused on sustainable engineering rather than short-term fixes.

Outside of my professional work, I continue to deepen my technical expertise through side projects and experimentation, including game development and the integration of modern AI tools into development workflows.
